Quran - Esoteric meaning of stories
Beginning to say is that the quran, as I see it, the only meaningful interpretation is the interpretation in esoteric terms. Other times, no religious books has any meanings beyond that. All that you will be left with is doing, doing till one dies. Esoteric understanding of the sciences requires no doing at all.
1st proof:
Abraham 6:78
Then when he saw the sun shining, he said, “This must be my Lord—it is the greatest!” But again when it set, he declared, “O my people! I totally reject whatever you associate ˹with Allah in worship˺.
My explanation: This is a story of enlightenment. We do not worship things that sets like thoughts. They go up and down. My true state is one that doesn't rise and set but that is always here, in the present moment.
2nd proof
6:80
And his people argued with him. He responded, “Are you arguing with me about Allah, while He has guided me? I am not afraid of whatever ˹idols˺ you associate with Him—˹none can harm me,˺ unless my Lord so wills. My Lord encompasses everything in ˹His˺ knowledge. Will you not be mindful?
My explanation: None can harm except the culmination of my own thoughts maturing in the moment.
3rd proof:
6:118
So eat only of what is slaughtered in Allah’s Name if you truly believe in His revelations.
My explanation: I accept reality only through presence. In the name of awareness.
4th proof:
It was not you who threw, It was Allah who threw...
My explanation: It is just another way of saying, live in the present moment. and right actions will follow naturally.
5th proof:
20: 113:
And so We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran and varied the warnings in it, so perhaps they will shun evil or it may cause them to be mindful.
My explanation. So they are aware of their thoughts and actions.
6th proof:
20:114
Exalted is Allah, the True King! Do not rush to recite ˹a revelation of˺ the Quran ˹O Prophet˺ before it is ˹properly˺ conveyed to you,1 and pray, “My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.”
My explanation: That is positive thinking.
7th Proof:
Allah will respond, “It is so, just as Our revelations came to you and you neglected them, so Today you are neglected.”
My explanation: He did not live in the present moment. He did not listen to silence, to hear his own inner voice. He has no stillness, no beingness.
8th proof:
Bid your people to pray, and be diligent in ˹observing˺ it. We do not ask you to provide. It is We Who provide for you. And the ultimate outcome is ˹only˺ for ˹the people of˺ righteousness.
My explanation: It is consciousness who provides. Consciousness is the source of everything. Now I finally understand.
9th proof:
67:11
And so they will confess their sins. So away with the residents of the Blaze!
My explanation: everything that they did that blocked away healing such as attachment, judgment, negativity.
10th proof:
In the Quran, it is mentioned many times how a small army has vanquished a bigger army.
My explanation. This is not about actual war but more mundane. A big task can be overcome with patience, hard work. one step at a time. living in the present moment. That is the true meaning.
11th proof:
the prophet not having a shadow.
My explanation. our true self is not in the world. The world is a dream. It doesn't exits. Our true self is unaffected. The Quran as many other religious books, teach bigger spiritual lessons through life events. I think it is one of those lessons. It is more simpler than people make it appear to be.
12th proof:
story of joseph. chapter 12.
My explanation: lust is never the way.
13th proof:
12:52
From this, Joseph should know that I did not speak dishonestly about him in his absence, for Allah certainly does not guide the scheming of the dishonest.
My explanation: I know how the universe works. liars will not succeed.
14th proof:
12:53
And I do not seek to free myself from blame, for indeed the soul is ever inclined to evil, except those shown mercy by my Lord. Surely my Lord is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
My explanation: The ego is always close to weakness, except those who are free from it through meditation, discipline.
15th proof:
12:56
This is how We established Joseph in the land to settle wherever he pleased. We shower Our mercy on whoever We will, and We never discount the reward of the good-doers.
My explanation: The universe, along with his positive thoughts, has attracted a great situation for him.
16th proof:
Jacob insisted, “I will not send him with you until you give me a solemn oath by Allah that you will certainly bring him back to me, unless you are totally overpowered.” Then after they had given him their oaths, he concluded, “Allah is a Witness to what we have said.”
My explanation: The universe, life is a witness. Your hearts are.
17th proof:
He then instructed ˹them˺, “O my sons! Do not enter ˹the city˺ all through one gate, but through separate gates.1 I cannot help you against ˹what is destined by˺ Allah in the least. It is only Allah Who decides. In Him I put my trust. And in Him let the faithful put their trust.”
My explanation. It is good to think positive but only life knows along with its infinite system coming together into the present moment that will decide the matter.
18th proof:
He cried, “No! Your souls must have tempted you to do something ˹evil˺. So ˹I am left with nothing but˺ beautiful patience!1 I trust Allah will return them all to me. Surely He ˹alone˺ is the All-Knowing, All-Wise.”
My explanation: the ego can go wrong and is weak. The universe is the true judge and recompenser. Not a judge in that sense but every conscious action will have its outcome.
19th proof:
12:86
He replied, “I complain of my anguish and sorrow only to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know.
My explanation: I put my thoughts only to the universe, only to life. That is so fucking true.
20th proof:
12:87
O my sons! Go and search ˹diligently˺ for Joseph and his brother. And do not lose hope in the mercy of Allah, for no one loses hope in Allah’s mercy except those with no faith.”
My explanation: Never give up in thinking positive. That is the sane way to live with life.
the fight at badr in which 100 muslims got helped by 1000 angels. One positive thought will call forth one thousand positive thoughts. One negative thought will call forth one thousand negative thoughts.
Noah's son looking for a safe place for the storm.
There is no recourse in today but in presence. There is no safe place to hide but in presence.
